I love everything about the city. I love the opportunity to be quiet or stand out. I love the fact that no matter what I do, there’s someone a few feet away doing something weirder. I love seeing couples so perfect or opposite that I know they would have never found each other in another city. I love subway performers and boutiques. Everything, the whole thing, there’s something for everyone.
1.) Never waste time wishing you could take something back. You can’t. Move forward.
2.) If you’re wrong, apologize. Even if it doesn’t change anything.
3.) Do not worry about people who don’t appreciate you. They’re definately not worrying about you.
The most beautiful people we have ever known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have pulled themselves out of the depths. These people have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern. Beautiful people do not just happen.
